The CTAE collection pays homage to the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctica Expedition (CTAE ) of 1990, in which The North Face kitted out a six-strong team of scientists crossing Antarctica to analyse the effects of climate change. The CTAE Trousers harness seam-sealed DryVent™ technology for breathable-waterproof protection. Shape and fit wise, they are true to the originals. They also have a celebratory anniversary logo patch. The main upgrade is that we're now using recycled nylon, putting waste materials to good use.
